Wednesday Thoughts...

Have you ever heard of Elbert Hubbard before?

I hadn't, but recently found one of his quotes online...

He lived in the late 1850's, and was an editor/publisher...

And he wore a wig.
But I guess a lot of people in the late 1850's wore wigs...

So then I looked for more of his quotes, and found out that this guy knew what he was talking about...

Hoping your Wednesday is wonderful!

Wednesday thoughts from Elbert Hubbard:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Initiative is doing the right things without being told”

“God will not look you over for medals degrees or diplomas, but for scars”

“Life in abundance comes only through great love”

“The final proof of greatness lies in being able to endure criticism without resentment”

“Love, we say, is life; but love without hope and faith is agonizing death”

“How many a man has thrown up his hands at a time when a little more effort, a little more patience would have achieved success.”

“A little more persistence, a little more effort, and what seemed hopeless failure may turn to glorious success.”

“Know what you want to do, hold the thought firmly, and do every day what should be done, and every sunset will see you that much nearer the goal.”

....hoping that I know what it is I want to do...

...and working towards that goal..

...and that someday, the sunset I see is viewed from property that we own...

...wherever that location ends up being...
