A reminder.

This morning I walked out the door in a new outfit,

feelin' that "new outfit feeling"...

holding two pieces of whole wheat toast in one hand...

and a Diet Pepsi in the other.

All in all, a pretty good way to start the day. Even if the day started at 5:10 am, and we hadn't gotten home until 12:30 the night before.

And while the day didn't completely come off track.

It sure tried.

............................

I knew I wanted to post pictures from the Round Up concert soon.

Such a fun evening with a pair of dear friends, and a pair of new friends too!

Rodney Atkins.

Reckless Kelly (oh, do I hear my Corvallis friends saying "no fair!").

Dinner before at Crabbies (my first time!).

Great music. Great conversation. Great lessons learned.

Wait: Lessons learned?

Yup.

Halfway through the concert Rodney Atkins told a story about how he was on a plane headed somewhere, and got to talking to a Hollywood-type on the same flight. The Hollywood-type was telling him how he had all he needed in his career, because he had friends who were actors.

To which Rodney replied: Well, I've got everything I need, because I've got friends with tractors!

..................................................

And so with today and all it brought....

I remind myself: I've got everything I need.

Because I've got friends with tractors.

..................................................

Thank you friends (Terry & Anna) for the tickets and great time Saturday!

*Isn't the look on Terry's face priceless???
