Go Beavs!

Update: We're still orange....but a little blue too.

Am I bad person if I absolutely refuse to root for the Ducks in Pasadena?

I published this using auto post,
so (hopefully) right now we're planted in front of a TV
cheering the Beavs on to a win...

Some Civil War History

It’s the seventh oldest college football rivalry game in the United States.

Dec. 3, 2009 marks the 113th time the game will be played.

Oregon holds the overall record: 56-46-10.

The Civil War game was not played in 1900, 1901, 1911, 1943 and 1944.

In the 1896 and 1945 football seasons, the Civil War game was played twice.

The rivalry game was commonly called the Civil War starting in 1937.

The game has also been called the Oregon Classic and the State Championship Game.

From 1997–2006 the winner was the home team.
