As I was driving to Hermiston last night for Bunco, Spring was showing its beautiful face all around me.
Ummm...I won the 2nd place prize at Bunco last night for most wins! I only brag because I've never won anything at Bunco yet and was so excited.
And I think I was even more excited when I saw that our prizes were gift cards to Lucky Endz, a local gift store with TONS of western stuff!
Seriously. (For you.)
It was a fun, fun, fun night.
Anyway, back to it being Spring...
Wheat fields were filled with green shoots making rows turn into fields.
Brilliant blue skies filled with lazy cotton clouds.
Farmers in the fields working towards harvest.
And today, as I was looking for my Thursday Thought - I found this:
"Everything is blooming most recklessly; if it were voices instead of colors, there would be an unbelievable shrieking into the heart of the night." ~Rainer Maria Rilke
And I like "yes!"
This totally describes how yesterday looked.
But as I was driving, I couldn't help myself.
I had to roll down the window and grab some pictures of the wind turbines set against the blue sky.
If I were cool, and had Photoshop, I could probably make this one look better.
But I'm not.
And I don't.
And I'm OK with that. :)
Happy April 1st!
And no, me winning the gift card is not an April Fool's joke.
Anyone want to go shopping?
