The Hiredman.

1. This picture cracks me up.

2. It totally embodies what today's rancher looks like.

A multi-tasker.
A hard worker.
A utilizer of technology.
And a lover of cell phones.

....I don't know how many pictures I have of Clint working and talking on his phone....

...but I know it's a lot...

And then I think; this is a 10 year old.

Specifically, our 10 year old nephew Jace who flew out from Nebraska to help us for 10 days.

On this morning, he was running the Silencer squeeze chute, loading cattle into the alley and breeding box, taking directions from us and talking to his dad on the cell phone.

And he did it all without missing a beat....or a heifer.

We're so thankful that instead of relaxing and enjoying his vacation from school, he's chosen to be up at 5:45 every morning, dressed and ready to help us tackle the day's work.

And he's done it with a smile.

All of the crew who's been helping (and there's a lot of them) comment on how happy Jace always is and how much they enjoy working with him.

He's been a great help to us; and there's no question why his nickname is "Hiredman".

Thanks Jace for being you!
We love you!
