In the spirit of Thanksgiving....
I'm giving thanks this month each day on my blog.
I'm thankful for unexpected surprises.
It has just been one of those days.
After I left work today, I went to pick up our mail from the post office since I hadn't been there for a few days. Bills, a couple of magazines and junk mail were jumbled in our box.
There was also a yellow card, which meant I had an oversized package.
"Huh, I wonder what that could be."
I took my card to the counter, and the nice postal worker handed over a carefully wrapped box with "fotoNovella" as the return address.
I wasn't expecting anything from Shannon, but you can imagine my delight when I unwrapped the package to find a sweet note and picture of Clint & I on a wedding day.

A "just because" package.
A thank you, how are you, thinking of you, just wanted to say hi, package.
And on a day that needed a bright spot...
Shannon brought a smile to my face.
It's the little things in life that count.
PS - I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Shannon is an amazing photographer. If you have a life moment that you want captured expertly....I would recommend her in a heartbeat.
She's a story teller extraordinaire, and we're thankful she's our friend.
Here's to running into each other more often on our country roads. :)
What are you thankful for today?
Join me (and a whole lot of other people) in giving thanks.
On a blog, on Facebook, a private journal, or a thought kept in your head.
I bet you'll be thankful you did!
