A weekend of lessons.

I think if I had to describe this weekend, I'd say it was filled with highs and lows.

We spent it together pulling heats, breeding cows, setting up more cows to breed, feeding, and doctoring.

And we were able to go to the Umatilla Cattlemen's annual meeting & ball.  We were late, and had to leave early - but we were there.

Good times, great people.

My laundry pile is huge, my floors need mopped, and there is nothing cohesive in our refrigerator to eat.
Christmas presents need to be bought and wrapped, cards need to be addressed and both of us probably need some sleep.

We made some big decisions this weekend - but we made them together.

And we got to spend time together.

{Together} matters.

Life Lesson #838 -
It's best to look life square in the eye,
make the best decisions you can make at the time,
and move on.

And a bonus;
Life lesson #839 -
 If you even think a gate should be shut behind you,
it's best just to shut it.

Don't ask me how I know that.

  1. Together matters more then I think a lot of the time we realize.
