A need for grace.

I'll probably be a little scarce around the blog here this week.

We had a full weekend, and for now I'm just going to post a few pictures and be back later with more in depth posts.

Honestly, I'm at the point emotionally where I feel like I'm walking on pins & needles, can't say or do anything right, and feel a bit overwhelmed.  Usually that means that I just need to either sleep or decompress or filter.  I've probably already said too much; and you don't have to worry; but I also wanted to be honest.

Thank you for grace.
- I hope you all had a good weekend. -

Until I return, maybe you'd like to read this post that I'm pondering?

~

Or these words from The Cure for the Common Life by Max Lucado?

"When David went mano a mano with Goliath, King Saul tried to clothe him with soldier's armor.  After all, Goliath stood over nine feet tall. He wore a bronze helmet and coat of mail and carried a spear with a 15 pound head.

And David?

David had a slingshot.

This is a VW Bug playing blink with an eightenn-wheeler, a salmon daring the grizzly to bring it on....But David rejected the armor, selected the stones, lobotomized the giant, and taught us a powerful lesson:

What fits others might not fit you.

Just because someone gives you advice, a job, or a promotion, you don't have to accept it.  Let your uniqueness define your path.
