Sorry my posting has been a bit random this week. Work was crazy (with a capital C) and it didn't get any less chaotic at home when the work day was over. I figured I'd continue with the crazy and post some randomness today on the blog.
1. And the cattlemen came.
We just rolled into Bend for the Oregon Cattlemen's Association's Annual Meeting and as I'm typing this, I'm listening to a session given by Nicole Read about social media and how to best utilize it. For so early in the morning the cattlemen have been INTO it!
Great to see that.
We're here until tomorrow night, and I'm looking forward to seeing friends we get to see just once or twice a year at these events.
2. Worth sharing.
3. 'Tis the Season.
Most people are holiday shopping, decorating their homes, putting up lights or choosing a tree.
Well.... 'Tis the Season to be breeding fall cows.
We bred at Meadow Acres Angus this week on Monday night and it went well. We're putting in embryos at the ranch next week and then we'll start breeding fall cows to Genex Progeny Test bulls.
'Tis the season.
4. Speaking of the holidays....
How much shopping do you have done?
I got a good start late this summer and luckily can say that I'm just about done. I have a few things to wrap up (hopefully this weekend in Vegas) and then it's just the monumental task of wrapping.
We're headed there tomorrow.
It's been five years since we were there and my handsome husband proposed to me.
We fly out tomorrow night and will spend Sunday and Monday there with our good friends Terry & Anna Francis. If you're going to be around - let me know....it'd be great to see you!
I hope you all have a great weekend friends.
Keep living the dream!
