Life lately.

This is just a quick post to capture a few pictures of our life lately.

:)

I should have been working on our 2016 taxes when I took this picture, but instead I took 15 extra minutes and snuggled this sleeping baby.

And then I finished our taxes - those bad boys are off to the accountant, and if I can get my act together - I'm going to do as much on 2017's as I can now next week.

Chandler had found a pair of Clint's Estrotect gloves that Jerry Jones had sent him, and run RUNNING all around the house waving his hands in them.  It was so cute - and I was trying to get a picture, but all I got was a blur.  This was the best one - but he was thrilled to have those on!

Our new night time routine is snuggling in bed with a bottle, while we watch Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune.  Cal is usually passed out in his bassinet right beside us.

Chandler was serious about his computer work last weekend....

Nap time with daddy last Saturday after we got home from AI'ing.

We AI'ed a small set of cows last Saturday for an older gentleman in Elgin, and the last cow he was struggling to get to the chute.  He told Clint he thought he could just breed her in the pen, and that she wouldn't move.  Clint asked me if I could bring the semen to him - and I said only if I could take a picture.  He and the cow both obliged.  :)

The boys did so good!  Chandler watched the entire time - or played in the stroller, and Cal mostly slept.

Sweet Cal got circumcised last week and had a rough time getting over it.  Chandler slept like he was dead to the world after his, and was a pretty happy camper so I guess that was what I was expecting Cal to do - but he was the opposite.  (I have a feeling this might be a reoccurring theme....)  He had a lot of trouble sleeping, so we laid low and did a lot of snuggling.  It was so sweet - he'd hold my finger tight, and then nod off.

Cheesing (above) and snuggling (below) for a picture to send to daddy when he was in Reno at the WVM sale.

And enjoying the back pasture and putting away Twist after dinner one evening.

Happy trails friends - hope you're living the dream!

We sure are...
